Differences between countries say as much about how much businesses there publish, and where, as about how many have a website. Compare niches within one country before you compare countries with each other.
How to read these figures
- No website on record means none was found in the public business information the lists are built from. It does not prove the business has none, so every share here is an upper bound.
- The lists are not a census. A business that has made nothing public about itself may not be in them at all.
- The website column holds the web address a business publishes. When that address is a social media page, the business counts as having a website.
- The counts change when the lists are rebuilt. Quote them with the date you read them.

What the figures are useful for
For a web designer or an agency, a niche with a high share is a market: many businesses of one kind, reachable by phone, with a gap you can see before the first call. The method is in the guide to local lead generation, and leads for agencies shows the same count for one country.
